Wonderful host. Take time to eat at Moonwaters Restaurant, which is adjacent to the venue.

the view from the room was good.
I did not like the size of the room. Was too small. Hardly any space to walk. Not suitable for a couple on vacation. Rates charged were very high compared to the size of the room.

It was so easy to walk to the city centre and wharf area....no more than 5 minutes. Unfortunately it was raining and we couldn't take advantage of our balcony. It was clean and the service at breakfast was excellent.
Bedroom and ensuite were extremely small. Probably doesn't matter if you're out sightseeing all day. Being called Nagoya country House sounds like it is situated in an open area but is totally the opposite.

Lovely friendly staff, clean good facilities, stayed in aqua room - fantastic jacuzzi, will return. Few mins walk to centre of bowness-on- windermere with all bars/shops restaurants.
Patio is not private, guests can walk straight past you to their room and look into yours, although this is not advertised as private patio and would not stop us going back in anyway!

Extremely close to the centre of Bowness, straight down the steps and you are literally in the heart of it. Lovely and quiet still though as it is set higher up, fantastic views. We would definitely return!

Having your own back door to come and go as you please and having your own patio area with table and chairs. lovely view. Quiet area but minutes away from bustling town.

We were particularly pleased with the elevated position of the hotel. French windows opened out onto a veranda with table and chairs enabling us to enjoy the benefit of the sun well into the evening. The room was tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Breakfast food was plentiful with friendly table service. Excellent in every aspect.
Wash basin taps but is a personal preference only.

Room very compact , switch for bedside lights out of reach on the floor?

The location and the view of the Lake whilst eating breakfast
When I booked the room I thought I booked a room facing the Lake however when we got there we had a room at the front of the house overlooking the drive. However this room was still pleasant and did not spoil our stay.

It was in a great location overlooking Windermere. A very clean and welcoming guesthouse with a great breakfast to start the day.
Found the bed a little bit uncomfy, think it was more to do with the size of it as have a bigger bed at home and you get used to the space.
